Hi guys.
I just thought I'd take this time to announce that I will be leaving the league today. I've been thinking about doing this for a while and given the recent circumstances I dont think I can put it off any longer.
I'd first like to say that this is in no way related to any personal disputes I've had with anyone on the site. The decisive reason I'm leaving is simply because I cant do this anymore. As some of you may know, I was born with a genetically weak immune system. I've always gotten sick more easily than most people but until recently it's been under control. However, my condition has begun to worsen and the illness that I've been suffering has become increasingly severe, affecting my mood, energy, all sorts of things.
I dont know how the future will pan out for me at present, it's not looking too bright, but I know that I cant keep leading the league like this. I just feel too tired most days to keep up with the day to day business of looking after this place. I dont know if this is goodbye forever, but certainly for the moment, it is. I've selected Raivar to replace me. He's the only logical choice in my mind, the one person I know who can keep things running smoothly no matter what.
I hope he accepts this responsibility, though I'm not giving him much of a choice in the matter by throwing admin powers at him.
It's been fun playing with you guys, I'll try to stop by some time when I can.
