Lore
Unlike many youth of Runeterra, Rebecca did not attend school. Instead she traveled the northern land with her family. Her family's wagon was always a welcome sight to the nomadic tribes of Frejord.
Her father a respected soldier turned merchant, her mother a wise healer. Her older brother and sister gifted musicians and storytellers. To Rebecca the only thing interesting or special about herself was the fact that she was the only human to be born in the Ursine village. This was something that she was very proud of, and secretly she saw herself as much Ursine as human.
While returning to the capital after a visit to the Ursine her family's wagon was attacked by Frejordian monsters. She managed to escape. Immediately she returned to the Ursine who did not hesitate to form a hunting party and return to the location. Tragically, they arrived too late to assist the family. As an act of respect for both the merchant and Rebecca the Ursine party tracked the beasts to their lair, and returned to the village with the remains of both the slain, and their killers.
Now nearly two years after the death of her human family, and the death of her Ursine chief who sought vengeance in her stead, Rebecca emerges from her isolation from humans to join her friend and blood brother Volibear as the newest champion to the League of Legends!
"Rebecca may appear human, but in her heart she is Ursine." Ashe, the frost archer

Back story Part 1
“Haha! Be at ease Marshal your cub shall be fine. We have lost neither mother nor cub in birth for as long as I can remember.” The Ursine chief said.
“I know old friend, and I appreciate the help of the village. I can’t help to be worried though.” Marshal replied.
“Hmm. I am do apologize I know it is human tradition the father be present at the birth, but our healers are rather adamant that only females be allowed. Apparently it is to ‘create a harmonious atmosphere’ to act as ‘buffer to the chaos of the world’. Like the cub understands the concepts of harmony and chaos.”
“It’s a fine philosophy, one I’m sure my wife believes in. I only wi-“ Marshal was cut off by a loud cry off a baby.
“It seems your cub has its own ideas about greeting the world.” The Ursine chief said chuckling. “Now then, go on.” The chief motioned toward the door.
Marshal smiled, composed himself, and left the room to meet his new child. Just as he exited the room the village shaman and the healer entered.
“Yes?” The chief asked.
“We must speak to you about the human cub.” The shaman said in a hushed voice.
“Nothing is wrong is there?”
“No no, quite the opposite, she is the liveliest cub I have seen in years.” The healer chimed in
“Then what is it?” The chief ask growing tired and irritated by this seemingly pointless visit.
Almost bursting with excitement the shaman blurted, “The mark my chief! She has the mark of the storm!”
Taken a bit aback by this information, the Chief grabbed the Shaman’s shoulders. “You are sure?”
“I have identified every mark in the village including you and both of your son’s. It is most definitely the mark of the storm. If you need further proof just listen.” All three grew quiet. Only the sounds of the fussing baby and a storm are heard.
“What power, to call the storm after just being born.” The chief exhaled deeply. “She must be trained to control it or she might cause great trouble.”
“We have already spoken with the mother. She believes her own abilities are great enough to suppress the cubs until she is old enough to be taught our ways.”
“The storm has gifted her great power. As The storms chosen it is our responsibility to see that she uses it wisely.”
