“So did you find out any information on our next target?”
Mask looked down at his PokeNav and opened up the map for his Boss to see. “We’ve located Registeel, and I am heading to his temple right now. What I think my plan of attack is going to be is to drop Golurk on him when he is still dormant and-”
“Mask!” The Boss was definatly irritated.
“Hm?”
“Stick to the plan! I don’t want any mishaps like last time!”
Now it was Mask’s turn to be irritated “Look, it all worked out didn’t it? There was never a doubt that I would succeed.”
“Just follow the plan this time… have you located any of the other artifacts yet?”
“No, no more ancient artifacts, but-”
“The artifacts are right near Registeel…” Boss was definatly ticked off now.
“Yes, as I was about to say” Mask tried to recover “I found another large rock. I believe it to contain-” Mask was interrupted by a loud cry. He turned around to find that Nite crashing down at him. “No, not that Nite kid again. He must be here for revenge. Look, I’ve gotta go.”
“Stop fooling around and get to Re-” Mask hung up the PokeNav. He turned to face Nite “Look, leave me alone. I beat you once, I don’t need to do it again!” Mask reached down for his Golurk. Golurk will end this quickly, so I won’t be locked in this battle for-” Mask looked up to see that it had started to pour. Not good, Golurk doesn’t do too well in the rain…but Gallade excels in this kind of weather. “Let’s get this over with, Gallade you’re up!”
"You know, you're really starting to annoy me. I came here to train, not deal with you creeps again. Go, Breloom!" Nite was definatly not in a good mood.
Wait…creeps…again? “You know of us?!” Mask was shocked. But how, Banzuke shouldn’t know who we are….
"Yeah, some Shark guy attacked our laboratory a few days ago. It's not important right now. Why are you here?!" Nite seemed very tense.
“So, Shark attacked the Banzuke Fighters at their own base…?” That idiot! How could he do something so stupid? This is just like him, he lets his emotions in the way of his thinking. “He is a fool, Gallade PSYCHO CUT!” Nite smiled “Hm, what are you smiling about?!”
"You think I'd fall for the same dumb tricks as last time? Breloom, Double Team!" Breloom makes a copy image of itself, then they duplicate again and again until Gallade is surrounded and confused. Gallade fires off the Psycho Cuts, taking out 4 of the Breloom images.
This isn’t good, Gallade cant deduce the true Breloom…
"Breloom, Bullet Seed!" Suddenly, all of the Brelooms fire Bullet Seeds from their tails at Gallade!
Bullet Seed…how weak. “Gallade, dodge!!” Gallade begins to dodge, but not knowing which Breloom is the real one, doesn't move. The real Bullet Seed hits Gallade in the face, knocking it over and dispersing the extra Brelooms. "Hmph. Did you think a weak Bullet Seed like that would knock out my Gallade? Pathetic. Gallade, Shadow Sneak!"
"Breloom, on your guard!” Breloom tensed up, but it was no use.
"Loom!" Gallade sinks into the ground, only leaving a shadow. Gallade's shadow moves in behind Breloom, pops up, and attacks!
"Breloom, no!" Breloom looks tired after Gallade's onslaught.
Perfect, now all we need is for that Breloom to get in close to Gallade so it can finish it off.
"Breloom, we can finish this now, use Mach Punch!" Breloom's hand lights up with a blue glow, then the small creature runs up to Gallade and uppercuts it. "Breloom, you learned Sky Uppercut!"
Oh well, he would have taken the Mach Punch anyway…but this is right where I want him. "You think Sky Uppercut will be enough to face off with Gallade? Not a chance! Gallade, you're fine, keep attacking Breloom!" Gallade shakes itself off and starts attacking Breloom at close range.
"Breloom, don't give up! Return its punches!" Breloom and Gallade battle it out, giving punch after punch in the rain. "Breloom, we need to end this! Sky Uppercut!"
"Don't let them do anything! Use Close Combat, Gallade!" Breloom and Gallade run at each other and brawl it out one last time, Gallade emerging in the air, then landing. Breloom falls. “Very good Gallade way to fin-” Just then Gallade falls. What…but how? "Hmph. Can't even take out a tiny little Breloom. Return, Gallade."
"You did amazing, Breloom, come back! It's not over yet, Mask. Go, Sandstorm!"
"That thing again? It couldn't even take out Gallade last time you used it, how do you expect it to do anything now?! Go, Hydreigon!" Mask throws out a Luxury Ball, which pops to show the looming Hydreigon. Hydreigon, you better finish this fight quickly… I’m losing precious time… and I don’t want to have to use “it” against this fool.
"Hydreigon, huh? An air battle it is. Sandstorm, use Stone Edge!" Flygon's claws shine with a razor-sharp stone, then Flygon lunges at Hydreigon.
"Hydreigon, dodge it." Hydreigon has a base speed of 98, which is two less than that of Flygon’s. However, that Flygon that Nite is using has a slower speed than my Gallade, which has a base of 80. Therefore there is no way that Flygon will be able to come close to touching Hydreigon…
Hydriegon moves to dodge, but Flygon is too fast and cuts Hydreigon a little bit. "What?! Flygon wasn't this fast in the desert! What's going on!?" This is impossible, according to the data from last battle that thing shouldn’t have hit Hydreigon!
"It's simple, Mask: Flygon and I got stronger. Use Giga Drain, Flygon!" Flygon's claws emanate a green aura and Flygon slashes Hydreigon, causing green energy to be transferred from the black dragon to Sandstorm.
Even though Giga Drain wont cause too much damage, it’s still a threat because Hydreigon cant move when it is being sapped…
"I won't accept this, Hydreigon! Use Dragon Pulse immediately!" Hydreigon's heads start glowing, then they all fire a converging beam at Flygon. Flygon takes the hit and falls to the ground in a pile.
Yes! A direct hit. This is the end.
"Sandstorm, no!" Flygon's eyes open and it launches back into the air, despite injuries.
IMPOSSIBLE….this Flygon is going past its limits. It shouldn’t have been able to take a x2 damage attack like Dragon Pulse with the weak Special Defence it has. And to top it off Dragon Pulse gets a STAB boost because it was used by a Dragon type. WHAT IS THIS?!?!
"Yes! Sandstorm, I think it's time we ended this charade. Use Dragon Claw!" Flygon's claws envelope themselves in a red light, then the light expands to form huge dragon claws.
If Hydreigon takes that its toast…and with Flygon’s speed I’m afraid that it’s just going to hit even if I tell it to dodge.
Flygon flies up and dive bombs Hydreigon from above, taking it to the ground, and smashing it into a large rock.
…I really didn’t want to use “it”, but it looks like I have no choice….
“Hm, pathetic…” Mask returns his Hydreigon to it's PokeBall. "Well, kid, you're among the first to ever push me quite this far. But I'm afraid it ends here for you. Go, Golurk!" Mask reveals an Ultra Ball from under his coat and releases the lock, letting loose a towering giant.
I’m fine with releasing Golurk now, even though it’s in the rain. That’s because Flygon has a disadvantage, too. But also revealing “it” will help me destroy his remaining Pokemon...
"Woah.... This isn't good." Mask sensed the fear in Nite. If only he knew just how worse it was going to get from here on out.
"And that's not all, Banzuke Fighter!" The black and white mask covering up Mask's face shatters, revealing an adult face with brown eyes. Mask then starts glowing a strange blue. His outfit begins to change as well. Mask’s black jumpsuit disappears to reveal a blue and white long sleeved shirt and white jeans. Mask’s face becomes eerily calm.
"What is this?! What are you doing?!"
"I call it... Hyper Mode! Registeel WILL belong to our Team!"
